Retsina Malamatina holds the top place in the hearts of Greek consumers and accompanies them throughout their lives with its superior quality and its authentic and distinguishable taste. Retsina Malamatina is produced from the exclusive Greek grape varieties, Savatiano and Roditis. The addition of a small amount of pine resin during brewing gives the characteristic flavor of retsina, releasing at the same time the fruity aromas of the varieties.

During the interwar period, the high society was fascinated by rebetiko music and the taste of retsina wine which was named after the French “resiné”. The retsina of this unforgettable era is today being revived by Malamatina Winery. With its elegant, fine taste and mild herbal aroma, REZINE marries in harmony, the tradition of yesterday with the flavors of today.

REZINE is being produced by handpicked grapes of selected old vines in low-yield vineyards. Before reaching your glass, the wine matures for three months on its lees, to enhance its unique and impressive tasteful identity.
